(Long) Wire projects
some of them are homebrew
09-02-2011: Arrived from DX-wire,2 mini insulators and 1 universal centre insulator, these will be use for different long wire antenna projects soon to come.
19-02-2011: First portable HF setup. Tested a 20m 1/2 wave vertical
dipole. Cut 2 pieces of soft electrical 1.5 wire to 5 meters.
Directly feed to the coax cable. Antenna is hung about 2 meters above
ground level.
SWR is not bad, but id decide to use the tuner to get the SWR more
within limits.
Worked VE2 (USB), SP4 (USB) and LA station (PSK).
