My projects
Since size can be a problem to hang or used a antenna I'm always on the
lookout for small, short, easy to build antenna's. The last part is the most interesting part - experimentation!! So today, 1ste of March 2011 I started building this antenna. First try: Coils way to heavy - need to re-think this project See U soon.
80m Short sized Dipole
So I found one that looks easy to make and has a sense of adventure in it, will
it - or will it not work.
Here's the layout and description as I found it on the internet;

The antenna above has been described by
Nadisha, 4S7NR.
L1 and L2 is 365cm and the overall length is 14,64m.
The two loading coils are described as 67.83uH.
They can consist of 104 turns of insulated wire, wound over 3.5 inches.
The coil diameter is not stated however.
Maybe it will be a case for experimentation here.
I will keep you update on the progress and test results.
